Role: IT Support Technician 
 
This is a great opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our team in Hucknall. 
 
As an IT Support Technician, you’ll be monitoring and maintaining the IT systems and networks for our clients. You will be based in our Hucknall office and working along side other members of the team in a variety of different IT related tasks. The role itself is largely around remote support but there will be times when you will need to visit to our clients or be involved in some of the IT projects. 
 
We continually invest heavily in technology and training which helps us maintain the high standards in the services that we provide to our clients. Within this role, you will be expected to continually develop yourself and proactively help other members of the team so that between us we can maintain our high standards. 
 
Duties, 
Be the first point of contact for any problems reported by our clients. 
Troubleshoot and research reported problems, then implement solutions or workarounds. 
Help to maintain our ticketing system, managing reported problems and keeping our clients informed. 
Creating and maintaining documentation relating to our client’s IT systems. 
Help with the roll out of new software or hardware. 
Testing and Evaluating new technology 
 
Skills & Experience 
Previous experience in an IT support role for a Managed Service Provider is required. 
Able to support, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems. Experience with any Apple products is desirable but not essential. 
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is required. You must be able to comfortably manage Office 365 for our clients and troubleshoot any issues reported. 
Basic knowledge of networking, router setups, switches and access point are required.
